ServicePilot ("we", "us") provides job management software for trade and field service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, business name, email, phone and login details.
- Business data you enter — customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, schedules and related records.
- Usage information — device, browser and log data used to run and improve the service.
- Payment information — processed by our payment partners (e.g. Stripe); we do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
- To provide, secure and improve ServicePilot.
- To send service, billing and support communications.
- To send notifications and reminders you or your customers have configured.
- To meet legal and tax obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers who help us run ServicePilot (such as hosting, email delivery and payments), and only as needed to provide the service — or where required by law. Integrations you connect (such as Xero or Stripe) receive data at your direction.
Storage & security
Your data is stored on secured infrastructure and protected with access controls, encryption in transit, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
You can access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. Email us and we'll help.
